The Domaine de brunet

Domaine de Brunet, located on the Causse de la Selle, is one of the oldest independent estates in the Languedoc. The vines have been cultivated here for five generations by the Coulet family, who perpetuate an ancestral know-how and a long winemaking tradition that respects the environment and this unique terroir in the Languedoc - Terrasses du Larzac appellation. The entire estate is farmed organically, and the wines have been certified since the 2022 vintage.

Le domaine de Brunet au Causse de la Selle (34) en AOP Terrasses du Larzac

Facing the Pic-Saint-Loup, at an altitude of 250 meters, the Causse de la Selle plateau, in the Terrasses du Larzac terroir, is a Mediterranean foothill of the great causses of the Massif Central. Its geology, climate and remoteness have naturally dedicated it to oak forests and garrigue, taking advantage of the Séranne to shelter from the wind.

The village of Causse de la Selle and a handful of farmhouses have clung on to this unique terroir and worked to develop it. Today, Domaine de Brunet is the only winegrowing estate.
